This is what a clinic that prints its own insoles looks like

Scanning, design and printing in a real clinic, no cuts and no promises: exactly what you'll see once it's set up.

The package

We don't sell a 3D printer. We set up your orthotic insole workshop.

Everything you need to produce insoles from the first week arrives at your clinic, and we stay on the other side of the screen whenever something gets stuck.

  • Modified Bambu Lab H2S: high-flow hotend, mineral bed for polypropylene and TPU profiles.
  • Course taught by podiatrists, using your own cases. You leave printing, not just understanding.
  • Insole design software driven by clinical parameters: CadMEd and LeoShape.
  • Validated filaments (PPCF, TPU, VarioShore), reordered from the client app, and technical support in your language.

How it works

How 3D-printed insoles are made in clinic: scan, design and print

Three steps that fit between one appointment and the next.

01
Podiatrist 3D-scanning a foot impression with a smartphone in the clinic

Scan the foot in seconds

Scan the foot or its foam-box impression with your phone: you get the 3D model in seconds, with no casts sent off to a lab.

02
CadMEd software: designing a 3D orthotic insole over the foot scan, with rearfoot posting and metatarsal pad

Design the insole

Clinical parameters, not engineering ones: offloads, wedges and heights in minutes.

03
Bambu Lab H2S build plate with several pairs of freshly printed PPCF insoles printed on their side

Print and fit

Printing, trimming and marking in a single process, no adhesives. Ready for the next appointment.

The technology

An H2S doesn't leave the factory ready for insoles. Ours does.

We modify the printer for the materials podiatry actually uses and ship it calibrated and tested by qualified technicians.

CadMEd

Design like a podiatrist, not like an engineer

CadMEd speaks in offloads, wedges and heights, not meshes and vertices. From scan to print-ready file in minutes, with your clinical judgement in charge.

  • Import the scan and shape the insole over the real foot.
  • Predefined clinical elements you adjust with parameters.
  • Export straight to the package's print profiles.

LeoShape partner
Design software

LeoShape: from scan to print, in minutes and from your browser

We are a LeoShape partner, Leopoly's orthotics design platform. It runs in the browser with nothing to install: import the scan, let the AI propose the insole and refine it with your clinical judgement. We handle onboarding, training and support.

Making the insoles myself stopped me from seeing patients and kept my waiting list growing. With this course I make the most of my time, both to see patients and to have a life.

Frequently asked questions

What podiatrists ask us before getting started

Which 3D printer is best for making podiatry insoles?

A fast, enclosed filament (FDM) printer that prints polypropylene and TPU reliably. We work with the Bambu Lab H2S, which we modify with a high-flow hotend, a mineral bed for polypropylene and specific TPU tuning. It prints up to 12 pairs of insoles in around 9 hours.

Which materials are used for 3D-printed orthotic insoles?

Mainly carbon-fibre polypropylene (PPCF) for the insole body, thanks to its fatigue resistance, and TPU or VarioShore for cushioning or offloading areas. All three come validated in our print profiles.

Do I need 3D design or engineering skills?

No. The design software (CadMEd and LeoShape) works with clinical parameters such as offloads, wedges and heights, and the course is taught by podiatrists using your own cases. Most students design and print their first insole on the day of the training.

How much does the podiatry 3D printer package cost?

It depends on your insole volume and on the materials you need, so we quote it individually. Book a demo and we'll send you a tailored proposal, with financing available. Work out your payback here.

Do you ship and set up outside Spain?

Yes. The printer leaves our workshop configured, calibrated and tested, and we ship it by courier to any country in Europe. Set-up is done with you remotely, and support is provided in your language.

Which 3D scanner do I need for insoles?

Any scanner that exports STL or OBJ works: desktop foot scanners, handheld scanners or iPhone and iPad apps. During the demo we recommend the one that best fits your clinic and budget.
